Happy 10th Birthday Phyllis!

Big thanks to Wendy over on her blog Noodling with Words for the inspiration to continue this parody. She started it and I ended up with this. 

All to celebrate Punxsutawney Phyllis' 10th Anniversary!

So what do I have exactly? Ah yes, its parody of "All About the Bass," that's all about Phyllis. 

Hopefully there will be a music video coming soon with a few dancing Phyllises (Phyllisi?), but for now here's the audio.

All About that Rodent

Yeah it's pretty clear, that she’s a groundhog

But she knows all the signs and sees right through the fog

‘Cause she is outside that’s just her way

She is out there playing and learning each day

She sees her Uncle Phil, he might just sleep right on through

She knows something’s up

Oh my, what will she do?

They ask is spring a’coming or is winter going on?

She has instincts ‘bout the weather

and she isn’t gonna stop

Yeah, her uncle he told her it’s your time to predict the weather

She said, I knew felt early spring coming on in the air

You know I love all the seasons, yes each one make me so happy,

So, let’s go on havin’ a ball

In the snow, sun, or rain.
